Practice Profile

The Practice was established in 2006 and has achieved awards including three RHS Flora medals for show gardens at Cardiff, Malvern and Hampton Court Palace Flower Shows.

We pride ourselves on the service we provide.  We listen carefully to our clients’ wishes and consider the practical as well as the artistic elements of a space.  We create gardens and landscapes that meet the needs of their owners and translate their ideas into a workable, cohesive design.

The importance of creating a garden or landscape that works with the wider landscape and site conditions is also key.  We consider the aspects of the views out and into a site and use our knowledge and experience to ensure the overall design works within the setting of the buildings and landscape beyond. We will also reuse materials and feel it an important part of the design process.  We will always suggest reusing plants and hardstanding where possible as it is important to us that waste is kept to a minimum.

We plant with wildlife in mind too and will try and include wildlife friendly planting that meets your wishes but does a little bit of good for birds and insects too.  We will also consider plant heritage and promote heritage varieties where possible particularly when planning orchards or vegetable gardens.

We love what we do and hope we can share that enjoyment with you, so if you are looking for a complete design and build service or you only need a little help with positioning plants to plant yourself, we can tailor our service to meet your needs.
